“T” is one of those horses that comes along once in a lifetime. I remember when I first saw him; he was two weeks old and standing by his mother.
We were at the breeders picking up my prized Quarter Horse mare after trying unsuccessfully to get her covered. I asked the breeder if they had any stallion prospects for sale.  We walked into the stall to see this little thing, just a few weeks old…. He was a pretty bay, and had a great hip and a soft eye.  After making the trip home with my mare, and having a long drive to think, I knew I wanted him for my breeding program.
“T” came home when he was 11 months old, when I arrived at the breeders to pick him up, I thought he was the ugliest horse I had ever seen! He had that white baby fluff all over him, and he was in that gangly stage. I thought “OMG, what have I done???”
I brought him home, put a blanket on him and prayed for a quick shed out.
He went straight to the trainer to get ready for his show career. With due diligences, he blossomed into this gorgeous red roan, with the greatest disposition I could ask for.
As a two year old he won the Lane County Fair Quarter Horse division, and was the Reserve Grand Champion Stallion. He has many championships on the local & state level. He went on to start a reining career, and joined the ranks of Oregon Reining Horse Association Champions.
He then went back to the trainers for some reining cow horse training. He did well at that, and now is a heading and heeling horse.
All along “T” has always had the best disposition we could ask for. Never screaming, or acting like a spoiled stud. He’s really a big baby that just loves to have his gums massaged ~ Yes; I said this stud Loves his gums rubbed…. Waiting for halter classes he has been known to go to sleep while getting his gums rubbed.  (Really, the funniest thing to see for most people.)
Currently “T” is in roping training with Bill Pinz, and is doing well in the Oregon Foundation Quarter Horse shows.

In 2006 we will be making a run for the AQHA world show in OK. So be ready to see him in the AQHA shows.

His foals have shown the same great disposition, and also one other thing, every one of his babies has a white spot on their faces.  We are very happy with the traits that “T” is passing on. Its great to handle the babies, and have them respond with a loving nature.
